"For a Better Lagos"

THE KOHMMUNITY MISSION

KOHMMUNITY is a movement of Lagosians and friends of Lagos who share a clear conviction that Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat should emerge as the next Governor of Lagos State. This conviction rests on a vision for a better Lagos, one shaped by continuity, competence, and a deep understanding of the state's evolving needs.

Driven by this shared purpose, KOHMMUNITY operates with discipline, strategy, and a strong grassroots presence. Our engagement cuts across all 57 LGAs and LCDAs, where we connect directly with communities, listen to their realities, and align our efforts with their expectations for good governance.

Through this structure, the movement remains grounded, deliberate, and focused on building trust at every level. Each interaction and engagement accentuates the candidacy of Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat and strengthens the collective belief that Lagos can move forward with leadership that understands its people and is prepared to serve them with clarity and intent.

6 STRATEGIC PILLARS

Our engagements are anchored in these six foundational pillars.

01
🏛️
Structural Integrity
KOHMMUNITY operates with formal structures, registered status, financial transparency, and clear governance at every level. We are not a crowd, we are an establishment.
02
🌍
Grassroots Authenticity
We are built from the bottom up, from the polling unit to the ward, to the LGA, to the state. Everyone in Lagos must experience the feel of KOHMMUNITY around them, listening, and acting.
03
📡
Digital Dominance
KOHMMUNITY holds influence on all digital networks. Every platform, every hour, our message is dominating and the most compelling. We invest heavily in technology, data, and digital talent.
04
🤝
Inclusive Coalition
We build a big tent. Every tribe, religion, gender, age, and region has a home in KOHMMUNITY. Our strength is our diversity, managed with intentionality, respect, and shared purpose.
05
📊
Data-Driven Action
Every interaction, engagement, and strategy pivot is guided by data. KOHMMUNITY uses opinion polls, voter analytics, social listening, and field intelligence to lead with facts, not feelings.
06
Rapid Execution
Plans are only as good as their execution. KOHMMUNITY's operational culture demands speed, accountability, and relentless follow-through. We are a machine that thinks fast and acts faster.

CORE RISKS

Four critical vulnerabilities that must be identified, confronted, and neutralised across every LGA in Lagos State.

01
Youth Electoral Apathy
A generation of young Lagosians, the largest and fastest-growing segment of the electorate, is increasingly disengaged from the electoral process. Disillusionment with political outcomes, a perceived disconnect between governance and daily reality, and the absence of compelling political propositions have combined to create a deepening apathy that, if unchecked, could significantly suppress the youth vote and skew the outcome against reform-oriented candidates.
High Priority
02
PVC Non-Collection
Thousands of registered voters in Lagos have yet to collect their Permanent Voter Cards, effectively disenfranchising themselves before the first ballot is cast. This gap is most acute in low-income wards, rural LGA corridors, and among young voters who registered but did not complete the collection process. Every uncollected PVC is a vote that cannot be cast, and every such vote lost is a margin that could alter the outcome of a keenly contested race.
Critical
03
Low Election Day Turnout
Registration alone does not produce votes. Lagos has historically experienced wide gaps between the number of registered voters and those who actually turn out on election day. Transportation barriers, security concerns, voter fatigue, and the sense that one's vote does not matter all conspire to suppress turnout. In a competitive race, a low turnout environment can disproportionately benefit well-resourced opponents with strong ground logistics and targeted voter mobilisation infrastructure.
Operational Risk
04
Narrative Gaps Exploited by Misinformation
In the absence of a consistent, well-distributed campaign narrative, opponents and bad actors will fill the information vacuum with distortions, half-truths, and fabrications. Social media has accelerated the speed at which misinformation spreads, particularly through WhatsApp and TikTok, the two platforms most actively used by Lagos's decisive young voter cohort. Unchallenged misinformation can erode confidence in the candidate, suppress enthusiasm among supporters, and introduce doubt in the minds of undecided voters at critical moments in the campaign.
Communications Risk

THE STRATEGIC INTERVENTION

A disciplined, citizen-led, data-driven mobilisation architecture designed to convert risk into results.

KOHMMUNITY's strategic intervention is not a reaction to these risks. It is a pre-emptive, comprehensive, and precisely calibrated architecture built specifically to neutralise each of these threats while simultaneously building an affirmative case for Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat's governorship. It is designed to operate on four levels simultaneously:

Convert Reform Anxiety into Reform Faith
KOHMMUNITY will systematically reframe the political conversation across Lagos, replacing fear of change with confidence in continuity. Through community engagement, policy storytelling, and peer-to-peer advocacy, we will ensure that every Lagosian understands not just what Dr Hamzat stands for, but why his candidacy represents the surest path to the Lagos they want for themselves and their children.
Move Voters from Registration to the Ballot Box
KOHMMUNITY will operationalise a three-stage conversion pipeline: Registration, PVC Collection, and Election Day Voting in favour of Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat. Each stage has a dedicated programme, a field team, and measurable targets. No registered supporter will be allowed to fall out of the pipeline through inaction, confusion, or logistical barriers.
Complement the APC Machinery Without Burdening It
KOHMMUNITY is a support group, not a parallel party structure. We are designed to amplify, extend, and accelerate the work of the official APC campaign machinery in ways that the party infrastructure cannot always do directly. Our grassroots networks, digital operations, and civil society partnerships create a second wave of mobilisation that strengthens the overall electoral effort without creating duplication, friction, or confusion at the ward level.
Secure Not Just Victory, But a Clear Mandate
A narrow victory carries governance risks. A decisive mandate carries governance authority. KOHMMUNITY is not simply working toward a win on March 6, 2027. We are working to deliver a result so clear, so broad-based, and so geographically distributed across Lagos's 57 LGAs and LCDAs that it constitutes an unambiguous mandate for Dr Hamzat to govern with confidence, credibility, and the full weight of popular legitimacy.

Project Vote Lagos
"Every PVC is a Vote Waiting to Happen"
A structured, citywide mass voter registration sensitisation and PVC collection aid programme. Project Vote Lagos deploys trained KOHMMUNITY field teams to every ward, market, campus, and community centre in Lagos to identify unregistered residents, assist with INEC registration logistics, track PVC collection rates, and resolve obstacles that prevent citizens from completing the process. The programme operates with a database of every uncollected PVC in each ward and does not stand down until each is collected. It is the foundational operation upon which all other mobilisation efforts depend, because every voter who has not collected their PVC is a vote that simply cannot be cast.
